Information Harris may collect
Account and contact details; authentication and session records; car, chassis and ownership information; race notes, setup, tires, maintenance, crash and repair records; photos; shock, dyno, scale, sensor, telemetry and GPS information a user chooses to upload; MyRacePass identifiers and imported results; crew permissions; support communications; listings; orders and product selections; consent records; and security and usage logs. Payment-card details must remain with the approved payment processor and should not be stored in Race Garage.
Purposes
Harris uses information to authenticate users; synchronize offline information; personalize the verified car; provide support, service, repair, sales and order history; maintain appropriate chassis and service history; secure the Service; respond to requests; improve products and support with aggregated or de-identified analysis; and comply with law. Marketing requires a separate optional choice.
Recipients
Information may be provided to authorized Harris personnel, the car owner and crew within owner-selected permissions, a verified later owner for an appropriately limited transferable chassis history, and contracted providers that need information to host, secure, distribute or operate the Service. Harris may disclose information when legally required or needed to protect rights, safety and security. Harris does not sell personal data in this pilot.
Retention
Harris keeps information only as long as reasonably needed, then deletes or de-identifies it. Account and ordinary customer content should be deleted or de-identified after a valid request, subject to limited retention for transactions, tax and warranty records, repairs, serial-linked safety and chassis history, security, fraud prevention, disputes and legal claims.
Your choices and requests
You may request access, correction, a portable copy or deletion, revoke crew access, disconnect MyRacePass, and opt out of marketing. The app provides an account-deletion request. Email info@harrisautoracing.com for a request or appeal. Harris will verify identity first. Applicable nonwaivable rights remain available.
Location, photos and children
Precise GPS, telemetry and photos are collected only when a user chooses the feature and grants required device permission. Do not upload another person’s information without authority. The pilot is not for people under 18 and Harris does not knowingly permit a child to create an account.
Security and changes
Harris uses role-based access, protected transport, token expiration, private storage and other reasonable safeguards, but no system is guaranteed secure.
